What type of sessions do you offer?
I specialize in maternity, newborn, and child sessions only.
What should we wear?
Earth tones and jewel tones photograph beautifully. For family shoots, it is best to coordinate your clothing but not too "matchy matchy". Most importantly, wear clothes that make you happy and comfortable. Newborns are best photographed in their birthday suit or a simple diaper cover. Children are photographed best without shoes, just their bare feet.
When should I contact you to book my newborn session?
I highly recommend that you contact me during your second trimester to start the booking process. I will have you complete the paperwork, deposit and I will tentatively place your due date on my calendar so I can stay updated on your pregnancy and birth. Once your baby is born we will then schedule a firm date for your session within the first 2 weeks of your newborn's life. If your baby is already born, please feel free to call and inquire about the soonest available opening.
How long will my newborn photography session last?
Between soothing, posing, feedings, and setting up and preparing for your session in your home, newborn photography sessions usually last between 2-4 hours. I love taking the time to perfect each image I take.
How can I best prepare for my newborn photography session?
After your session is booked, I will send you a beautiful packet of information to help you prepare for your session and to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. You will receive this information about 1-2 weeks prior to your session.
