The Artist

Hello! I'm so glad you are here. I am a custom portrait and lifestyle photographer, specializing in the art of newborn, maternity, child and family photography in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas. My two sweet children are my inspiration. I fall in love with them all over again each and everyday. They are the reason I am so passionate about photography. I love what I do and I believe it shows in the quality of my work.

I'm a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse turned photographer, so I have a natural love of all things baby! I'm a self-taught photographer and have spent countless hours learning the tricks of the trade and it drives my passion that much more. I believe being a Labor Nurse has helped me greatly. I know how to handle newborns safely, how to get them to sleep, and how to calm them down when they are fussy. I also have a crazy amount of patience!

My Style

My style is all about soft tones and beautiful light. I have been known in the area to capture ordinary moments in a beautiful way. I am not the "say cheese" kind of photographer, and I don't use many props. It just isn't me. I want you and your loved ones to be the focus, not the props. I shoot with natural light on-location only to capture moments that are real. These "lifestyle" sessions are what makes my work unique. No two sessions with me are ever the same! I love using your home, your style, your personality to create stunning images that reflect you and your family.

I believe some of the best moments in life are the little things. The little details. That is why I love photography so much. I love capturing those ordinary yet beautiful moments that are sometimes forgotten. I love making those  moments last forever. Like freckles on their nose, dirty bare feet running in the grass, wispy curls, dimpled chubby hands and feet, the way their little hands fit into yours. Your baby snuggling against your skin. A glance. A sparkle in their eye. The dimples in their smile. Photography gives me the chance to capture those simple yet unforgettable moments in your life. Most importantly, I believe in what I do. Photography is magical to me, truly magical.
